Imho we should given the Chance to Level it up. Maybe with some Silver, Linen thread and Carapace. So this Set could Level Up into Mistland.
With all its Benefits, the AR should Balance slightly unter the Carapace Level 4 Armour. Maybe Carapace Armour Level at its own Max.
For the earlier Use i suggest we could level up the Fenris with other Materials to push its AR. Otherwise it fine.
Now FENRIS SET is my best friend
And that is achieved best by moving out of way of incoming attacks or parrying them, not absorbing blows. Armor value is the last line of defence; even health is more important since it increases stagger gauge capacity.
The movement speed provided by Fenris set also decreases cost of movement actions since their stamina cost is affected by movement speed penalty.
It's not a "melee" set either, you can use any weapon you want.
The Armor value is the last line of defence only when you miss the parry/dodge (which sometimes happens to anyone), and
the more armor points you have - the less dmg you will take
less dmg taken - less stagger.
Heavy armor is a trap with the way the game is balanced (shield > resists > armor). You only need enough armor to not get staggered through a shield block.
I've missed a few and continue too. Timing against mountain golems is especially tricky, it staggers them but does not stunlock them, one has to be patient enough not to attack until after the second block/parry. The toughest are still those 2 star fulings & berserkers, who can hit through a perfectly timed b/p. The Fenris set is the only set one can roll through their strike and get behind them. Anyone having problems with stamina management can definitely use the Fenris set.
Thanks for the comic interlude FissionChips, I haven't thought about Leroy for quite some time now. It still brings a chuckle ...
