seriously.. this is the tool you craft to kill a flying ice dragon terrorizing the countryside with its drake minions.. the spear should have an awesome silver head with wolf teeth as a guard.. help me out here.. it should be both deadly looking and ornate..

what's in game now is a stone age tool and an insult to my character's skill level at the forge.. i'm embarrassed for him and the dragon both.. i apologize to her every time i kill her for using such an insulting, embarrassing, simple, ugly tool.. i don't even want to take a screenshot of my character using it..

I prefer its appearance over carapace spear and ancient bark spear. And if it weren't for the naturally high damage output of wolves [citation needed], I'd agree about its questionably high performance in game.

I doubt they are going to change that spear at this time, but who knows. It's not a bad thing to think about these matters one in a while.

Damn. As a spear users, I feel this. I argued that it's lame there isn't a blackmetal / upgrade for the fang spear but people say there "doesn't need to be a weapon upgrade for every biome, even though the Sword, Atgeir, Shield, Dagger, AND mace have blackmetal upgrades. I'd be fine with the fang spear if there was a legit upgrade once you got to plains.
