But could you imagine trying to farm a two-star trophy? They're already 1% spawn rate, now 5% drop rate? lmao.
I agree that trophies are too much common, but starred creatures are either uncommon or far more dangerous.
Perhaps a solution would be to have a scalable chance to get a trophy. For instance, 0-deers would have 5% chance, 1-deers would have 20%, and 2-deers would have 50% (vs 50% for all). To be balanced of course (how many trophies to craft a sledge hammer?).
I'm supposing that's what the obliterator is for, though while I have the mats for it, I haven't bothered making one yet.
Edit: to clarify, OP didn't specifically mention summoning trophies. I'm fine with those spawning like crazy. I can just discard them.
i think you're missing the point. but that's ok.
Yeah, I think Shangoose means that the mob should drop a specific trophy for its star rating, not the normal trophy, for decoration. Big game hunter ♥♥♥♥, do I have that right?
So like a 2 star troll drops one with brown skin, a 2 Star Deer would be like killing a 12 point buck, if I count the antler right, lol.
