Went live yesterday. & ty op I was curious about that too.
I guess it might prove a problem if your team spent a lot of time combing many, many dungeons. I think I've only cleared 5 or something on my world so there should still exist dozens of untouched dungeons.
Yeah...we cleared at least 20 or so mines. Didn't realize we were crippling our potential jelly supply...
I think I'm going to take a break until this is fixed. I really put quite alot into my world and my mage.
This just takes the wind out of my sails.
if this change woulndt affect dungeons cleared before then they have to address that as that would be pretty harsh in the long run. i cleared alot of mines myself. havent checked any of them yet as i dont use magic much and thats the only thing this is needed for. as of yet.
on the other hand they could just add new ways of getting.
i would just allow broods to spawn as random mobs. this would help this issue already.
THAT SAID, I understand there is a dev command you can do that resets the chunk of the world the dungeon is at; you'd need to make sure you pull out any buildings you want to keep as they would get overwritten and once that's done, you can head back in to clear the dungeon all over again.
What I would like most of all is if there was some building one can make that just generates royal jelly over time, like a bee hive. and going forward, jelly and honey can both be utilised for regularly used recipes going forward as well.
I don't know, I'm not a cop.
I can't justify the time expenditure on this game anymore.
You build up a world, explore it thoroughly only to find the meadows infested with seekers and your dungeons rendered worthless.
Now I'm missing five points off my blood magic skill that took a day of skeletons shooting to get.
♥♥♥♥ it. This isn't fun. I'm going to play something else that is.
If it really chaps your hide when early access changes are inconvenient, then stop playing early access. Seriously. Read the fine print, any update might require a full reset. It's part of the development process. So far it's been pretty mild as far as character/world resets are concerned but that there could be an update at any time that would require a full reset. If that is something that makes you unhappy and frustrated then stop playing pre-release games. Plenty of games that are already released and out of early access/development. Valheim is under construction and there will be changes that affect your world. Standard early access news here, don't sign up if you can't handle potential world-changing changes while a game is still be developed.
