I would say 2-5 is probably accurate or close enough to it. maybe its 3-6, but ?? it doesn't make much difference. If you want a better idea of this, I would make about 20 maps online and count them up, see if you can prove you never get 1 or 2 or 6-7 etc.
Eikthyr always only has 3 in close proximity to the spawn point.
The rest can have between 2 and 5.
My world has:
Eikthyr: 3
Elder: 4
Bonemass: 5
Yagluth: 4
Moder: 3
Queen: 5
I'm unaware of any spawn restrictions on the boss altars, providing you have enough of the sacrifices you may be able to spawn many bosses one after the other.
