Its just not right how they can see me from like 100 meters distance when there is terrain between us. I cant even see their tarpit, but they are already on me. Thats bull.
just drain the pit and you can pick everything up after the battle is over.
They are, but carrying around fire arrows specifically for that purpose is hardly ideal unless your base is in the Plains or something and there's tar pit nearby.
What you should not use are pierce, slash and frost weapons, though Frostner will do just fine (as it always does) thanks to triple damage types.
Wait for both to fire their volley while strafing to either side before rushing in to kill one and then back off to eventually deal with the other. Spirit Damage applies to them so a silver weapon like Frostner is good or the Iron Sledge though your movement speed would be lessened.
At least once you clear a pit you will only deal with groups of 2 when they respawn so it isn't as hard when coming across 4 or so. You can also lure other enemies into fighting the growths. Fuling Villages and Lox are pretty good temporary allies in this case.
If something is too challenging change your tactics, failing that upgrade your gear.
