Munin: Giant remains Shadow of ancient age. The Jotunn once ruled the 10th world, until their time ran out and they were ousted by some other power.
Hugin: Kraa! Pick their bones and break their domes!
I see domes, which can means a lot of thing including the ribs that form the dome shape, I don't see brain though.
dome is a slang term for head, so when he says break their domes, he means break into their heads
"Some other power" Is that the fist cryptic clue of Valheims endgame I wonder? Jotunn by the lore live in the deep north of the worl do if by any slim chance still living one(s) are anywhere it is their and that would make an interesting prelude to the ultimate ValBoss.
But yes spoilers no the Devs have made it perfectly clear they want each drop to have a purpose. Collect everything unless its a neck trophy it has a purpose thus far...
Also in the 90s we had these things called magazines, or you could even buy stand alone game walkthroughs - for those who didn't have the internet, which already existed...
absolutely no excuse for that. some would even consider it cheating. wouldn't be complicated to have immersive telegraphing and information in-game. Odin giving you clues, or the crow circling in the sky above some point of interest.
there is some fun in the surprise of not knowing what exists or what it's used for until you pick it up. but mistlands exemplifies why this discovery process is confusing and frustrating. smashing rotten bloody brains out of giant skulls? to make magic turquoise marbles? what? that's not just unprecedented in Valheim, that's unprecedented anywhere ever. and this item which is in fact smashed brains is euphemistically called "soft tissue". it doesn't even make sense. and the crow's only clue to this pants-on-head progression path is "chrome their domes" or something, like placeholder text? the game kind of sneers at the immersed player in a lotta ways.
