Modding on multiplayer
Ive been trying to mod the game, but I can't figure out how modding on multiplayer works.
Some people say you need to install the mods on the server root folder, but thats for dedicated servers, right?

What if im hosting a server through the game, just for me and someone else to play? Will installing the mods on my client and the other player's client, and not on the dedicated server folder, be enough? Thanks

Playing with a few friends and we do it the same way.
However, my friends have been able to join and play even if they didn't have the mods or no mods at all, and as such they just have not had the benefits of whatever mods the rest of us used.
So for non-dedicated servers it seems mods are client side only.

Hey folks,

please remember that as of now modding is not officially supported. It's done at your own risk, there are no guarantees for future compatibility. Please keep backups of your save files before you start modding. If you need technical support, please always include a full list of active AND prior mods, since that can influence the game's behaviour with regard to bugs.

Have a good day!
