Yes, there is an item you can craft after you have all your mistlands crafting stations up. It isn't a class but a play style that will require you to limit your health or stamina in order to really be able to play it actively. Testing continues.

No, there is a totem you can make at the Galdur table that summons skeletons when used. It requires Mistland food that gives you an Eitr meter.

No, there are no classes, only skills. One item allows you to summon, at this point, up to two skeletons when upgraded. There is a skill that governs, among other things, how powerful these skeletons are in combat. This, along with other changes, have, in effect, made a mage class in the game but its based in the play style not the rules/coding.

You CAN tame wolves and have them follow you.. but that has nothing to do with magic or this update at all and there is no "skill" tied to it. There is a YT video of a player strictly using wolves to beat the first 5 bosses.

Hunter skills would just be like your bow and weapon skill.. no "hunter" skill. Also by skill are you meaning like an skill you level up or an ability you have an action you can do?

Taming animals isn't a skill. You can tame boars, wolves and loxx by tossing food they will eat on the ground near them and hiding yourself nearbywhile they eat of it. They can't be in a panic (!) state or they won't begin taming. After a while they'll tame and become friendly. You can then breed them and wolves will follow you around and attack anything that attacks you or gets too close.

Lets make this very simple:
you are a viking. You do not have any class.
you have some 30 or so skills that you level up by doing, elder scrolls and similar style.
These skills include weapon skills like using a bow or sword or axe etc. Details below, but as stated already one of the weapons lets you summon a pet (2 max currently).

you can also tame a number of wild animals, which takes only patience and some common sense (the animals will smack you down if you are careless).

They also include the new 'magic' staves; there are 4 staves and 2 skills. One of the 4 summons a heavily beefed up skeleton warrior or archer(random). It lasts until killed or abandoned (portal, zone change).
you can also tame a number of wild animals, including wolves and lox (a big ox type thingy), both of which can fight for you and the ox can be ridden.

Wolves are the only tamable animals that you can command. And that's just follow or stay. There is a lox saddle but you don't have access to that until after you kill the fourth boss. You will be practically done with the game before you can summon skeletons using an item.

Valheim has no such thing unless you are referring to modded content. There are no classes and there certainly is no summoning.

As was already stated there Is summoning.. with the "Dead Raiser" you can summon up to 2 skeletons depending on what lvl it is. It is a new Mistlands blood Magic weapon.

but this is the extent of it definitely no Ghosts or Wraiths.
