Can you disable mob griefing?

Is there anyway, whether by mods or console commands, to make it so that mobs cannot damage/destroy the environment (trees, structures, etc.) and is there anyway to make it so that mobs don't fight each other, and they only fight the player?

I'm not aware of an existing method.

It should be possible for a mod to prevent mobs fighting each other, mobs have alliances and bosses already have an alliance with every mob.

Not so sure about environment destruction, perhaps if a new damage type can be added and chosen structures modified to be immune to the normal types then damage can be added only to chosen player weapons.

you could always just throw down about a million campfires then raise ground over them to completely prevent the spawns. Outside that or modding the game I don't think there's really a way to do it.
