Himmin Afl is the best weapon in the game when it comes to melee/warrior combat and nothing comes close!!!! This gem shreds everything in its path and I'm loving every second of it.

It does better than spinal tap frost arrows TBH. I know soldiers have a ♥♥♥♥ load of health but a T2 Himmin Afl can parry and stun lock a 1* soldier...

Don't ask me how it does against 2* soldiers or 2* seekers...i pop bonemass and go be completely rekful.

Yup, Himmin Afl is the winner. Stun + Elemental = win . The rest of the melee weapons are questionable at best. Krom and Jotun's Bane are probably the worst ones. But let me guess, they will probably nerf Himmin Afl some day so the rest don't feel that bad.

Plus the DPS, and fast AOE....its all around the best choice!!!

Completely agree. I love the Himmin Afl. i also found it to be the best against ticks. If you've got one attached to you just do the special attack (center mouse button) and it will get rid of it.

...didn't like or use 'polearms' before now, I grudgingly bring my staffs along to bring up those skills, when I run out of magic food, the lightning punch takes over.

I parry and then thrust--big time into any/all opponents, my new favorite H2H weapon. Superb crowd control as well...there always has to be a 'best weapon' please allow this one to have it's rightful place and touch nothing!

Devastating against Seekers, and Ticks as long as you can get them on the same terrain level. Problem with Soldiers is that it uses more stamina than other versions. Seems slightly less powerful than the black metal version against some non-ML opponents, maybe less susceptible to lightning? Does less piercing damage.

I found the Himmin pretty paltry in Mistlands tbh. I went with Frostner+Shield for the most part, felt like Frostner outperformed Mistwalker too.

The poison axe is garbage

Thats because mistlands creatures are resistant to peirce and slash so the blunt and frost combined with low stamina drain makes it useful though i found the secondary attack of the mistwalker sword the most useful of all.

I will definitely agree on the Mistwalker. I really like swords in this game and the MW has been a pleasant upgrade. That said, the big surprise to me was how much I use the new atgeir...what a fun weapon. Never thought I'd ditch my shield for a 2H in difficult fights in this game, but it is becoming my goto melee weapon.

Frostner is a REALLY GOOD choice as well...which I love because it still gives it purpose considering its a weapon with a unique name (aka a Legendary Weapon).

And yes...the poison axe is complete dog water...unfortunately....
