Yes, I have rebuilt using this idea. This joins the spice rack, hot tub, mortar & pestle and the others as things that have to be placed just so and seriously limit/cramp base building fun.
Its kind of a cool idea, but when you combine the input/output aggravation design with the shooting particles it becomes a little too annoying.
Prior to this I just set them up far from my base and let them do their thing in the wilderness.
Both the refinery and eitr them selves will emit those tachyon particles. Kinda wierd they stop in chests but I'll take it.
