Why doesn't it stay loaded? Best guess is that the devs didn't want us walking around with a full hotbar of preloaded arbs waiting to promote some poor invading seeker from raider to missing person.
My main issue with it more i use it is just the games crappy system of aim, where the crosshair isn't actually where the bolt is going, you need to adjust higher/lower depending on terrain and angle. They really need to make a true "aim" camera for ranged weapons. The other issue but this is endemic to all weapons is how slow it takes to level up, the crossbow hits less often than other weapons, since damage is not calculated into XP, it's one of the slowest weapons to level in the game, if not the. They need to change the XP system to account for how much damage is dealt.
correct, its a balance issue. belt full of loaded arbalests would be stupid.
They could easily fix that by allowing only one Arbalest to stay loaded. I also think it should stay loaded if you put it away loaded, but certainly not a whole hotbar of them. lol
LMAO, didnt cross my mind. Thats a promotion I would dish out gladly to some of those fckers!
