Can you edit ram size?

I run a dedicated server for a small group of player, its fine running in the background but i just found out its eatig up almost 16 Gb of ram and that is simply overkill for the server I run. Is there any way i can edit the server files in order to limit the ammount of ram the server uses? Thanks in advance.
