Currently, I use a mod that has work stations on wheels that helps in some situations. But what I would really love is a workbench backpack or something.
That or like other games.... pre-build furniture at the specific workstation if we can't transport metal through a portal (without mods). That would make a crafting area feel like even more of a crafting area.
This is my favoritest new piece... no more hokey glass walls and dragon tears or shroomlights.
This drives me nuts with the Lanterns and the Black Forge.
I am not burying a black forge every 50' where I want lanterns, so I constantly have to break it and build it, place the lanterns, and go put it back.
Asinine. Once you have unlocked everything by placing a specific crafting table, all said furniture objects should be linked to default workbench.
related but repairs are getting nutty too, visit 3 stations to fix every 30 min and the remote repair station is becoming a chore to set up.
i solved it by building on a little wee tiny island and going vertical.. 3 workbenches wide, the outside ones are buried in the wall
This does nothing to solve problems. It should in fact show you how poor a game is if it needs mods in early access
Whitout mods i couldn't play this game, there is so much annoying stuff wich ruins this really good game because of stoic people.
Praise openminded modders.
