Glitches, crashes, bugs

I picked up Valheim in the beginning of 2021. At the time I had so many glitches during multiplayer, that at times it was hard to play. Though when I played solo, I barely had any issues. Recently I have been playing Solo and this time I decided to use mods.

I am currently using the ValheimRaft, Valheimplus and Bepin. I am having a ton of crashes, and just can't seem to get things to play. I can't tell if it's my graphics card that is slightly overclocked or if it's the mods. So I have played with no OC on the 3090 and everything is good, then next time a crash happens. I have played with OC and no crash and then the next time I used OC I get a crash. I have trial and error-ed but a consistency I am not able to see. Then at other points I run into a complete freeze, usually when I'm moving around items or buildings.

Some mods I no longer use are ValheimHD, and Candymans texture pack which both with the recent update have caused a stir of chaos of crashes. So I threw them out, which was sad to see since the game was so beautiful with them.

The reason I post this, is I'm wondering who else is having issues or are you not having issues with the recent updates. What mods are you using? Are you using no mods and still having issues. or vice versa.

occasionaly I get a crash when playing solo. When I play with a friend of mine I get no crashes. But I have like every 20 min or so a freeze for like 0,5sec.
Havent played for a while but I think before the mistlands update I had no crashes at all.
Hope the next patch will fix things

Mistlands patch was pretty recent- mods(are not Dev supported) may not have been updated yet.

Good point, I have seen some mods being hidden because of the current update as well. I think it may just be that.

I didn't bring that up, but since you said that. I as well get a freeze about every 20 minutes or so. I am guessing this is the game save. But sometimes the freeze is just a stutter, and at other times its a full on frame by frame stoppage. And then back to normal.

My guess would be ValheimRaft, my bro and I have been using Plus no problem so yea.

Also HD just updated and fixed the crashing few hours ago, so far mine seems fine after updating.

So it's gotta be Raft.

i believe the freeze,stutter every 20 min or so is the world save. i get it solo and when i join a server.

I haven't had any crashing issues and i'm running just 8GB of ram.

played about 2 hours alone with no problems. after a friend join my game i got about 5 crashes in 1 hour. -.-

I started having random crashes myself pretty recently and just gave up on playing for a bit out of frustration. I was watching a show on the side at the time and seemed to most notably be having crashes whenever I tabbed out and put on the next episode. Pretty weird

i have just recently used the raft mod on a mistlands map with no troubles. generally my groups impression of the game always has been that its rather bug-free compared to other early's

i cant remember anything that stuck in my mind regarding bugs on the game, really, other than the fps drops on heavy terraforming at launch ,wich they fixed.

Can't speak for other mods but I've used Valheim Plus for literally 200 hours since MistLands and have had 0 crashes in that time both playing alone and with friends.

Yes with friends I have noticed some crashes. This post is from a little over a month ago, so I don't know if things have changed. I have recently been playing some other games. But if anybody finds solutions let me know.

Me and my friend have huge problem with stuff dissaperaing like lox saddel when dismount and poff gone and cant pick it up and other things so now so scared to frow stuff on the ground. This started after dec27 maintence/update. Any1 els? (we do not use mods)
