Portals for tamed wolves

Will the dev team ever give tamed wolves/lox access to portals? I mean its kind of a shame that they don't when you go out of your way to tame them in the mountains/plains. Especially with Mistlands being as rough as it is. It'd be nice to bring your tamed wolves into the fray, also a consumable for Lox and Wolves to eat so they can regain health that isn't throwing meat on the ground. They could make an entirely different portal utilizing mistlands materials. I'm sure there are other people who've mentioned this.

Why not ask portals for the bosses too while we're at it.

lol there's a big dif between er.. bosses and ores and having your wolf come with you.

I dunno, it's almost like the player characters themselves not being natural inhabitants of the world could enable only them and their possessions (aside from processable metals) to operate portals. What do you think about that?

The ores and metals don't bother me. I just want to bring my wolves into a fight or when exploring a different biome. I do like they can guard your structures, makes them useful when you're building. I definitely don't care about portalling to bosses. I normally play by myself and having a wolf companion to fight by your side wherever you go is cool, in my opinion. To me it gives another layer to the game. In a fight you're not just focusing on your own survival and when you're exploring other places it doesn't feel as lonely. Befriending the critters of the land, whether it's for food or helping you fight or getting around. Lox would be tricky. Just because they're so big. Feels like their use is strictly regulated to plains biome for fuling raids and such.
