Struggle to find core wood
Where is core wood found? We cant get any from Fir trees in Black Forest.

You need to find Pine trees for core wood. They're also in the Black forest.

Best thing is to get a troll chasing you, and you just run around letting it knock down and break apart trees that you can't cut down yet.

The Pine model typically has almost no branches to at least 8m up or so, where as the fir branches can start like 1m up

We found out, wandered around in the edge of the biome. Been too long since our last save. Thanks for the answers :)
