The amount of piglets you can get per minute goes up even further with more pigs because they can reach pregnant state faster from multiple partners. bowchickawowow
Edit: this isn't new. this has been in the game since at least Hearth&Home update if not sooner.
They probably use the same pronouns lol
this not worked before mistland ... last time i played and had breeding station, they eat 1 food and had 1 small pig, another food another eat ... 1 food 1 pig ... now i had +-6 pigs from 1 food
Here is how my pig farm has worked since Hearth and Home update. You should also keep in mind that animals won't breed if there are already too many in an area.
For my pig farm i have 3 pigs in a hut and they are the only ones that get food and breed. That hut is connected to a pen about 12m away via a corridor of fence.
Whenever i hear a piglet be born i go and push it out of the breeding hut and leave it in the slaughter pen. i stockpile at least 10 piglets in the slaughter pen and then go do other things for an hour. When i come back they are all fully grown.
i have breeding farm on wood pilar with 2 pigs and they breed new and newpig ... few min ago i kill 180 pigs
tower farms are pretty cool
