How do you fix the god awful minecraft textures?

I couldn't even start playing as all the textures look like an old PS1 game. Is there a fix?

Figure this is one of those blue guys and they are a bit lost. Black Forest is that way —->

But in case it isn’t…. It’s the artistic style of the game as others have said. Once you’ve been playing awhile however, the pixelation kind of melts away because the gameplay is exceptional for an EA game.

Someday, some of you may realize that gameplay > graphics 24/7/365.

It’s still in Early Access. It’s not at full release yet.

Turn off Depth of Field and Motion Blur. Depth of Field makes far away objects not render fully so they look blurry. Motion Blur makes it look like a console.
