Just got my first Silver. What should by my building priorities?
Greetings All!

I just got my first silver (about 120 ingots). What should my prioritized list of "things to build" be?

I'm hearing the Wolf Cape would definitely be #1?

Some people are saying Frostner is over-rated (in my searches online), as its frost does nothing to mountain creatures and most plains creatures are immune?

Either Cape or wolf chestplate for frost resistance, then draugr fang and frostner.

My logic is this.
Either cape is a waste of silver... better off with chest first to eliminate the need for potion and get the armor buff.
Then shield.
Basically with the frost resist chest and shield you are all around better off for dealing with threats in the mountains, to get more silver, and are even at the level it would be safe to scout the edges of Plains.
Then food upgrade
Then drauger bow <Fang>
After all that the Legs and Helmet

<I've played through twenty some worlds so I have put a LOT of thought into things like this ha ha>
Depends on whether or not you have fully upgraded iron armor. If so, the armor boost isn’t much at all unless you upgrade it. Using the cloak instead saves more silver for other uses until you can get more.
Frostner is good, but you won't get it if you haven't found the trader yet (as my second character is experiencing right now). Not sure where that shifty dwarf is hiding, but he's pretty good at it...

Obviously not good for business, though. :P

Shield first every new metal tier for the parry. Then cloak for FR. You don't need the rest of the armor set. Save yourself metal and the speed debuff and learn to parry / dodge then you can just go through the entire game wearing troll armor. The bow is meh, what do you need a bow for that late into the game? So you can kill drakes with 1 less arrow? Anyone still using a bow to kill a boss that late into the game needs to restart and learn to parry / block / dodge.
IMHO(!) Draugr Fang is pretty essential for Moder. Yes, you should smack her hard when she's on the ground. But that's the problem. A lot of the time she's in the air, and Draugr Fang and it's added poison damage will help you bring her down much faster.

Edit: Again IMHO, the bow is good for two of the bosses, Elder and Moder. Not everybody is good a dodging, so they either need to tank or kite. For us older people kiting is the easier alternative, again at least IMHO.

That, and if you’re in Co-op with other players, it’s easier to have just one or two people tanking and the rest just opening fire with bows. Too many people in melee and it can be hard to keep the focus on the players trying to take the hits. The bow is a decent upgrade. You also have to consider how that small amount of damage scales when getting sneak hits or criticals. That extra few points can be the difference between staggering a foe or not, or simply killing them outright as opposed to leaving them with a sliver of Hp. It does matter a bit.
