Crossplay PS4/5 not included why?

Is it difficult to release for PS ? or is it a exclusivity thing that is hindering/preventing this?
I have mates on there and playing with them would have been fun

ye It kind of confused me in the sense of exclusivity. Anyone with a ps is gonna be more likely to jump ship for a pc rather than an xbox imo ....suppose daddy microsoft wins either way

It didn't mention it wouldn't be on the PS for crossplay. So, that is some poor communication on the devs part.

Game is out on Microsoft game pass now for PC, coming to Xbox in the spring. Crossplay is live using playfab on azure. And coffee stain handles distribution of the game because they are the publisher. The game studio (iron gate) makes games

I will never understand the desire to use a console for any kind of gaming other than sports.
I tried it for a year ... it is the equivalent of doing your work/job on a phone: yes, it can be done, but it is very restrictive and limiting. I've heard people say they use a mouse and keyboard with their console, but you're still playing on inferior hardware with an inferior display (using a TV).

There are certainly pros to using a major console. Just a few:
Much, much less expensive.
Much less maintenance and tinkering involved.
Few concerns about software not working as intended.

You're vastly underestimating brand loyalty and familiarity as a factor when choosing systems to purchase. Sony peeps are not going to stop using Sony consoles because of something like this, especially those that also rely on it as their main entertainment hub (vid streaming, blu-ray, gaming, etc).

Don't get me wrong, crossplay is great. But Sony isn't doing anything MS wasn't doing when they were on top and Sony was playing nice with the whole idea.

btw crossplay doesn't work with game pass version, we tried to play now but it do disconnects
