antigravity copper ore
How the heck can I make this fall? It's been 4 game days after I undermined it and I even jumped across to the top of it and it wont fall.

I started mining on the top and it caved under me and killed me, but the greater mass still hangs there.

Have to build scaffold to it.

Build a house around it and put it in your living room.

try and break any trees or bushes around it, you will be surprised what it can still be connected too, even if there is nothing actually near it lol

I know people talk about it... and youtube shows it happening. I've mined hundreds of copper and never got a node to gravity death.

Silver i have a 100% success rate
Copper 0%....

Starting to think its a photoshopped myth :D

I think they stopped the copper collapse a while ago. Silver still does it if you hit the middle of the Y but copper doesnt anymore.

Built a workbench so a hoe would work and went around pillaring up to each piece. Finally got it all down. The total deposit yielded 114 copper ingots.

This deposit also yielded 2 Trolls as they came and just stood on the edge of the hole throwing rocks while I peppered them with arrows. Never got a scratch.

At least Trolls can help with the mining. I usually start digging & attracting about 1,567 grey dwarfs, 984, shamans, 729, brutes.... and 16 sea gulls.

I have not tested with copper, but with rocks, if you dig down there is always a piece you have missed. Whack that, and it collapses

Maybe that's it... below ground level copper pieces.

My nodes always have to be chipped off the floor at the bottom.

Or perhaps not, because if that was it why do i get partial collapses while I'm tidying them up?

Hmm...totally works on silver, never tried on copper. Was largely past copper mining when I realized it was a thing. Need to try this out...
