Are the placed too much on wood floors? They need to be on stone or ground, etc.
Do you have ample ventilation above for the smoke(usually that doesnt afffect placing the materials in it though.
Thanks to you retsam i tried it with no mods and it worked!!
So it doesn't work with mods? or is it a specific mod because i like mods like epic loot..
As with any game that allows modded content, the mod is only as good as the player who made it. Also updates(like today) can break mods when changes to the base game make the mod incompatible.
Mod use always has risk for issues. That's just something to accept when using mods.
But it does help to make sure you down your own due diligence in choosing mods too.
Something like "Epic Loot" adds this extra double cheese thing to this game i wanted if you know what i mean.
I have just a few minor mods and Epic Loot. Like "Trash item" or "Recycle" to not interfere too much with the game coding itself..
So i tried the mods just a minute ago and the problem was "CraftingwithContainer". With this mod u can work at the station and it picks automatically the ressources out of the container in range..
So with 3 out of 4 mods the smelter works like it should and i'm happy ^^
