Dismantle base?
If you dismantle your entire base do you get all the materials back or do somethings not give you full crafting cost back? For some reason I am under the impression you don't but I can't seem to remember any building/crafting station I haven't got full crafting cost back.

And if you dismantle some things, like a Yule Tree, you might not be able to build them again until the right season rolls around again.

I never get full materials back from campfires; I always lose the 2 wood but get back the stone. I feel like I've always lost a bit of wood from wooden building parts (floors, walls, etc), but always got full materials back from crafting stations, portals, boats, stone building parts. Not sure why the inconsistencies...

All buildings that intake fuel like campfires (wood), torches (resin), braziers (coal) will not drop their fuel source after being created. Everything else will drop 100% of materials, just make sure you pick all of them up after dismantling.

Not sure why this is, but it could be to prevent the duplication of fuels or something.

Not sure if it should be included or not but I heard you don't get the thunderstone back if you destroy the obliterator. (but you get back the iron & copper)

Quite sure you do get the thunderstone back. Just moved an obliterator yesterday.

I've seen a couple of mods use the thunderstone as a fuel source, I think it might be coded that way internally.

there is supposedly a bug where you don't get it all back; never had that happen but some say they get like 20 nails instead of 80 on a boat break.
