Where is the Wolf stuff?

Ok, I'm clearly missing something. I have upgraded the workbench (everyone says 2 is enough), have Wolf Pelts and a Wolf Trophy, and still no option to create the Wolf cloak or armor. What going on?

The wolf cape needs silver and the armor needs fenris hair and a cultist trophy

Nothing about smelting silver and getting fenris hair requires the plains, so I’m not sure why you said this

None of the published Wolf Armor recipes requires hair or cultists. Has it changed?

There are two types of mountain armor. The silver set uses wolf loot items, silver ingots, drake trophies, and a chain from the swamp. The Fenris set uses fenris hair from the frost caves and other things, don't remember what all. Two different things. The silver set is the normal armor and the fenris set is light armor that has some bonuses.

Do you mean the silver armor? That stuff needs drake trophies, lots of smelted silver and chains in addition to what you have, plus it needs to be made at a forge and not a workbench

The regular smelter for copper tin and iron also does silver.
Black metal is the only one you need the moder drop for.

Mountain is the 4th biome , dont go there under geared and problem solved lol

OP : make a forge and their upgrades not workbench loool
Workbench needs to be lvl 5 to make fenris set ( light mountain set ) , heavy sets are made it in the forge and wolf set its a heavy set

Have plenty of wolf pelts and silver >ore<. Solution has already been posted--haven't smelted the silver yet.
Not up to Ice Caves yet.

You don't need anything from ice caves for wolf stuff.
Ice caves have the light armor from the mountains not the wolf/silver heavy armor.
