Valheim

Favorite Food Combos
Not the 'best' endgame food combos, the best that can be attained around after let's say the Elder.

For me - Sausages are the best. You can hunt the outskirts of the swamps for the entrails and boar meat is easy access and thistle is easy as well. Great health boost and stacks in 20's.

Currently, i have sausages, wolf skewer, and wolf jerky. I'm stocking up on lox meat and uncooked pies and plan on switching up though not sure which.

i do 2x hp, 1x sta. So, I do wolf skewers, sausages, and onion soup.

Of all your food, only sausages is "appropriate" for the swamps. All the other food is already either Mountain or already Plains food (which is currently "endgame").

In the swamps I used sausages, boar jerky, and whatever stamina food I could get. This served me pretty well. Now, I'm in the mountains, and I still use sausages, but also wolf skewer as health food, wolf jerky as alround base food and eyescream as stamina food.

I‘d say you should replace sausages with lox pie.

Well, before I cheesed silver using stagbreaker, I think I was using deer stew, sausages, and carrot soup.

Getting Serious: Serpent Stew 30 min, Lox Pie 30 min, Blood Pudding 30 min.
Secondary food: Wolf Skewer 25 min, Sausages 25 min, Eyescream 25 min and depending on resources I shift with onion soup 20 min.
Lazy food: Honey

He said favourite, not best. What if I told you that all the high tier food is pointless to make because you shouldn't be getting hurt much? Especially with high-tier armor.

After several runs, i've probably cooked all the recipes hundreds of times by now, my favourites are:
Deer Stew for making use of 3 farm methods to make one satisfying dish.
Wolf Jerky for being the superior balanced food.
Sausage for making good use of undead intestines. Who doesn't like Sausage?

I'm a carnivore in Valheim, no regrets.

My favorite combo is:

Eyescream
Blood Pudding
Wolf Skewer.

I invested in knifes & fists and play like a rogue while my friends tank. The extra stamina allows me to stay very mobile.

While i am firmly addicted to Atgeir master race, the brief time i've spent with Flesh Rippers was crazy fun. Might think of making a new game soon just for this. Hope we get new Flesh Ripper types.

Even at endgame I still use sausages xD

I run around the plains with lox pie, bread and sausage, only use serpant stew for bosses, it's obtainable very early, but I don't hunt serpant often enough, sausages are just great :D

Honey is an excellent stamina food early, beacuse it completely renews, and let's you save berries for deer stew, and meads when you enter the swamp

I heard deer stew is a waste to make because the stats dont add up so I just eat the deer meat. Swamp stage is carrot soup, turnip soup (once ive grown enough) and snags. But you have all given me idea's because ive been wondering about the foods

Generally I don't bother with it for long, but it is good when your at the black Forest, before you can get things like turnips from the swamp, as soon as you do, yeah, you won't really make it anymore xD

Serpent stew, turnip soup and muckshakes. That's my go-to once I get a few iron and find turnips. If I want 2x health, I'll use sausages.

Gotta say, that's one of my favorite combos. Before the swamp, I'm usually running Deer stew, carrot soup and queens jam which isn't bad, but for some reason the former food combo feels like much more of an accomplishment than this one.

For my style of play, 2 x Hp + 1 x Sta is the best
As a devoted Bronze Age viking that likes to sneak around in my troll armor I've been eating onion soup, boar jerky and sausages for quite awhile. I still remember my glee finding 3 onion seeds.....it was like a winning lottery ticket. Haven't done Elder yet so I'm looking forward to expanding my menu with my wolf farm products.
