Valheim

Valheim

Valheim Legends
FINALLY someone makes a survival/rpg game with some magic (even if it is in a mod.)
Does anyone have any experience with this mod? Are there good servers to play on it with? Hoping to find some kind of regular pve/pvp experience along these lines where I can build a character in a persistent world. I love this kind of game but Atlas was a disappointment, Conan Exiles looks like too much bloat and $$$, 7D2D I'm waiting for A20 to get back into it.

I didn't even realize this exist. Sounds neat. I'm iffy on modding the game, because I read how updates can break world/player saves.

I thought Valheim was refreshing because it didn't have magic.

I tried it, couldn't get it to work.

The mods listed on Nexus have comment sections. I read them because they'll give you an idea whether it's worth to download.

Yes, we (my wife, stepson and me) use this mod, along with Valheim+, and it's kinda nice, because you can vary your playstyles. My Ranger is perfect for hunting game while my Monk thrashes wolf hordes, golems and even fulings unarmed. My stepson tanks our enemies with his Valkyrie and I'm laughing every time my wife does her Shaman water glide because it looks so funny. :D

Even vanilla Valheim has magic. Potions(meads), Special powers (boss skills), enchanted weapons, armor , and items ( Draugr fang, Lox cape, Megingjord, etc)

portals....

Mobs have spells too " Heal, poison, shield, fireball, lightening, frost, fire , etc.
