deers are making such noises its nature
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cEMS6B6Ga8M
Video above is fake. It is probably a dog.
Around here the deer are peaceful and play hide and seek with peoples pet cats.
They tend to make a low murmur when speaking to each other almost a mooing type sound.
They have nothing to fear in the area so you don't hear them making "alert" sounds, might be different if I was out in the hunting areas. But never heard a white tail bark like that around here.
Seen an albino one, even had them sneeze... but no barking here.
Note how it says "rare" right in the title. Deer don't run around barking constantly, like they do in this game. Deer are extremely quiet most of the time. It's comical to imagine walking through the woods, with deer sounding like that.
It's very handy when you're on the lookout for skins/meat while running around exploring.
Most of the deer I hunted in this game were spotted by sound. Kinda nice considering how skittish they are, makes sneaking up on them much easier.
I'd like if there were actual European red deers in game.
