Server admins cannot use devcommands?

So i host a dedicated server, and wondering why my admins do not have the ability to run devcommands on my own hosted server. /to either remove crafting, or spawn events etc. The devs should make it so any people labled admins on a server can run the commands they want. not just single player. Leave it up to the server host to decide

I agree with all of this. Dedicated server should yield full game/metric control of functionality. I'm still spoiled from the RKON days of Source old.

Seconded. The reply seems to be "use mods like Valheim Plus", but that then adds an additional requirement for 'all' users, as - reading up, it seems the server needs it, and each client needs it(?).

This, versus "Simply allow server admin to do as they wish". If you want to flag it to all connecting clients, then by all means do so, but please allow admin to do with their servers as they wish.

at least let commands be usable from the server it self, that way if you want admins to be able to use commands, you can give them access to the server anyways

Yep, I have a Linux server hosting 24/7 Valheim in my basement and have rolled up to Valheim+ for my server needs. It is what it is.

I run V+ on my server. Had some version mismatch , but had friends install V+ and sent initial config file in email.
