My lox won't breed
So I started with 2, and now they won't reproduce. Is it because of inbreeding or is it just being difficult?

are they happy, if not feed them flax, barley or cloudberrys
if your pet is happy it reproduce, so keep placing food around

They are in an enclosed space with more than enough room to move freely in. Also I keep feeding them cloudberries, and it says that they're happy but they still won't breed

They need to be close to each other to breed. If one is staring to wall, when the other is also staring into wall on another side, it wont work.
You could dig a 3 wall deep hole and push bouth inside and it will work.

Like that:

make sure the two loxes are opposite genders, and IK its hard to avoid the sticks and all in this game BUT BY NO MEANS breed a lox with his sister.... we dont need a wrong turn situation in lox form if u know what i mean..

if the enclose space is too big, they wont breed. also breeding takes 20-40mins IRL for 1-2 kids. i had a space of 4x4 2m wood walls.

My loxes run free in the wild, to reproduce they have to be close so I use the saddle to bring them closer, then I feed them and pet them and it works somehow because I already have a nice herd. I tamed them also without any fences. As I know, if tamed animals have too little space for each of them they stop reproducing. When I don't have too much meat for wolves, I lock them together, so there's no new ones to feed until I come back from hunting or fishing xD

I figured it out. It's because there can only be so many within a certain area and I've just been blind to it the whole time
