Gizmo?

I recently discovered Gizmo, the mod that lets you rotate in all three axes when building. Great idea, but apparently it isn't working since the Mountain Caves update, and the last update to the mod was April 2021. Anyone know about an update for this mod, or an alternative to it?

I used PreciseRotation, but as Gizmo, it stopped working after last patch, so now I use the rotation setting in Valheim+ instead.
A bit clunky compared to PreciseRotation/Gizmo, but it gets the job done.

The Valheim Plus mod has both advanced building & editing modes. ABM allows one to rotate building items in any direction when first placing them, and the editing mode allows one to move building items after they have been placed. Valheim Plus developers always update the mod within hours of a game update and are always fine tuning the mod based on reports by users of any bugs. Valheim Plus is an excellent, stable mod that does almost everything, and the best thing is it is always kept up to date. When using any mod, no matter how trustworthy, always consistently perform manual saves.

Thanks all for the replies. I'm mostly fine with the basic Valheim setup, but it blows my mind that the build setup doesn't have this function.

It's yet another build item that should have made it into the building update, Hearth & Home, rather than depend on third-party mods.

I mean... we didn't even get 26/45 degree angled versions of the new beams they added. :-\
