Main Base expanded a bit, after a lot of Dvergr Outpost deconstructing and Stone Golem hunting^^
My build with my Brother and Nephew helping farm the mats! We just made it into the swamp biome so its not furnished 100% yet!!

This site is right against a mountain (the wolf that would occasionally wander down gave me some problems for a bit...) but there was an existing structure there that gave me a nice patch of flat ground to work with.
This is the biggest thing I've ever made completely out of wood. If I ever chop another pine it'll be too soon. The main structure is 2 floors + basement, I could only get 1 more floor out of the tower before I couldn't support a roof anymore. The tower goes all the way down to the basement. The frame and exterior walls are core wood, the interior walls are wood panels

Sooo... here's another of my little settlements. It was finished some time ago but i kept "updating" it (as i normally do with all my builds... trying to add new features, elements or details).
I started experimenting with "double layering"... prolly still not good enough with it but i hope you'll still like it.
The Settlement was realised on a small island bordering black forest and a really small patch of meadows.
It's connectedo to the ground via a fortified bridge (with a bridge tower on one end and a gate keep on the town's end).
The settlement is composed of various buildings.
Once inside there is a small "hunter/gatherer" hut (the guy also has a small vegetable garden and tends the bees :P).
The forge has its laboratory/foundry on the ground level while the blacksmith's living quarters are on the first floor (accessible via an external stair)
The baker's hut with the hoven.
The leatherworker/clothier hut infront of the forge.
The port is a small fortified one with 2 werehouses for repairs and for mead fermentation :P.
The Tower has a balcony used as lightouse. The model of the tower is the same one I used for one of my previous builds (wanted to challenge myself and see if i were able to reproduce it). aaaand... now some pics of exteriors and some interiors (I hope they'll be visible):

still not finished - next steps is gathering more ressources and building a house
followed by the hard part - turning the nearby plains into the farming area
the way it looks is intended: i want it to look a bit crude, worn/used, also somewhat dangerous (sharp stakes around every buidling)
dont wont to make it look overfancy so a bit of roughness takes place (like the viking had repaired structures)
also placed details like blue mushrooms and large fires where i put down some trophys
the fire in the center also had a large skull next to it (spawned in) i love that thing
as trees i place oaks (got lucky on farming, so i have some acorns left)
decorations are spwaned via cheats - the rest is handmade following the survival game rules (no cheats)

it works better than expected - survived 2 "ground is shaking" and one "the air smells like sulfur" events pretty well
It is now day 256 of my 100% vanilla no cheats no savescumming Mistlands run and I thought I'd share a few iron age screenshots before I go kill Bonemass. I'm sure I'll get to Mistlands eventually!
The main structure is now supported by a stone basement but the rest is still core wood. The tower has a wood-iron frame (in case that wasn't obvious from how tall it is)
