I am very very VERY stuck

So I was playing a few days ago and while I was sailing in the ocean, a serpent destroyed my boat. Out of fear I just left my game. I'm stuck in the middle of the ocean and have limited stamina and health.

Any suggestions as to how to get out of this situation?

Swim as far as you can and then log out. When you log back in you will have full stamina.
Or just use dev commands.

Hmm. I think you can use console commands to teleport back to certain coordinates.

If you're trying to avoid that, I'd say you're in need of rescue. If there is a way to find your current coordinates and you could post them here. I'd be willing to join to attempt a rescue. I'm not too privy to any console commands, but if you're interested I'd be willing to explore the possibility.

Oops. I completely forgot that was possible. That may be your easiest answer OP. Hopefully you have some decent food on you for your stamina.

you must have cheats active for this to work...

open the console (Press F5)
/devcommands
/debugmode
close the console (Press ESC)

press the Z key on your keyboard (enable flight) and fly to land

Yea in this situation i say its ok to use the fly cheat code one time to get back to dry land.... back where you came from... not forward. The game really needs a prompt asking you if you want to respawn at your last known position of last game save. or at the very least allow you to retrieve your body at the previous shoreline.

I can log into your server with full material for a ship and come and rescue you. If still needed. You would obviously need to send me the server data and a map with your location and spawn point marked.

I DO NOT recommend using the dev console unless you have strong will power to stop using it once you reach safety.

Why would it be "OK"?

They got themselves into the situation in a normal fashion, how does that qualify for a cheat menu option?

I mean if they got stuck behind an un breakable tree and rock or something... but this was just a normal situation.

EDIT ADD- OP should do what they want... I just disagree that this was some justification if you normally consider that cheating.

Yeah, I eagerly await the day they patch out the dev commands for good. Entirely too many crutches being handed out in the forums these days...

Edit: That said, OP, if you die in the water and don't have materials for a boat out to your corpse marker, I'd be willing to bring a Karve to your server and assist you getting it back. That's 100% intended gameplay, unlike flying or teleporting or spawning your stuff from thin air.

Well you can use exploits or devcommands or swim until you die, build another boat and sail back to get your gear
