Here is the answer... ^
Game is not broke here.
We live in a culture of blame. People will blame anyone or anything for their misery sooner than take the responsibility to own it and make it better.
wtf u talking about lmao? I paid for this game. This is early access, of course the game has problems to fix. I'm not researching or googling for a stupid game lmao. This is not writing a college paper. I didn't pay money to be miserable lmao, what's wrong with you. actually, I'm not blaming, I'm saying facts. I should be able to get my crops back, just like in Minecraft. obviously they need to fix the game.
my ignorance? lmao. obviously I'm ignorant about the crops mechanism because the guidance isn't clear, the tutorial is bad. the developers are punishing me for their mistakes? jesus, how much Valheim paid you lmao?
btw, sounds like u r blaming me for blaming the developers. so, how different r u from me lol.
definitely not worth creating a comment on the thread, bro
Thank you for your understanding.
This is how you learn, you try stuff, some of it doesn't work for reasons you weren't aware of beforehand, you learn and do things differently next time.
Valheim isn't a game that throws up a tutorial every single time you encounter something new, you have to learn either by playing the game and making mistakes as you go, or if you want easy mode by googling every single thing you encounter.
Nobody cares if you want to google every gameplay mechanic so you know perfectly how everything works before trying it once ingame, or what attack patterns every mob has and what their weaknesses are so you never get surprised or have to do any learning ingame, that's your choice to experience the game that way. But if you want to turn Valheim into Disneyland and have the game hold your hand explaining every last detail to the player in advance you can shove right off, because that's not the game most people want to play, and the tools are already available to you to get most of that information if it's how you want to play.
Go back there if you want easy mechs and no looses
Its incredible that u reach plains with this kind of mind
My favourite is the coal. How do you get 15 coal? Do you prepare plant matter and press it, making some sort of rudimentary burner-fuel? Do you dig for it in the ground, like a sane person? Pray to the gods, perhaps?
Oh, no. One burns chicken on the camp-fire. Until you at some point will be able magically roast the finest core wood in the forest into coal-bits (neither of this works in reality). Or else, one farms evil small-elves who seem to carry coal out of the lava-pits of Swedish viking-hell.
But the - by far - quickest way (and only way early on) is to burn food on the campfire. Because we all know that burnt chicken will get your forge above 1300 or so degrees when you put it in the forge.
Or else you can obliterate gold coins, because viking physics!
Nevertheless - it is a "learning process". So one shouldn't be too harsh about these ENTIRELY LOGICAL AND INTERNALLY CONSISTENT MECHANICS THAT ARE NOT RIDICULOUS IN ANY WAY.
It might have been eggs in a basket and reap what you sow, but combine them and you've got your answer.
"fix your game" reads as aggressive in tone, thus the resulting flame thread.
