Tin/Copper/Bronze worth harvesting into Iron Age

I was wondering, I harvested 3 full chests of tin and 6 of copper, and I'm halfway through my stash entering the Iron stage. Is there any reason to continue harvesting for bronze/copper items on my part or does everything continue to shift into the new metals at each stage where the previous stage becomes obsolete?

I figure Iron, for the iron wrapped wood poles and stone cutter will retain usefulness, but I don't know how likely copper/bronze/tin are to be needed later on. Would like some insight as I'm a bit compulsive about harvesting materials and having some insight to its long term use would be helpful.

I think there are some decorations, lamps and whatnot, that take bronze. Also, If you end up wanting a new base and don't wish to dismantle your current one, you will need workstations and upgrades.

If you have full bronze armour, you don't really need it unless you want torches that mount on the wall and so on. There might be some crafting stations that use a little bit, but its just a little bit. You don't need to stockpile bronze unless you want to build some cooler looking things.

the lights, and nails which are for the item mounts, replacing a lost karve, cooking pot in a half-home waystation, bronze shield is almost a mirror and can be used for light tricks, stuff like that. Mostly, only if you build a lot of homes or mount every trophy etc...

Copper and bronze would still be useful for setting up new bases or expanding your current one. They are used for making forges, numerous station upgrades, braziers and sconces, fermenters. Having multiple fermenters is a good idea anyway if you don't do that already.

Tin doesn't have much use on its own. It is only used for making a butchers knife and making more cauldrons. So don't get much more than what you need to make your bronze.

To be honest though, screw bronze. I'm just happy for you that you're pretty much past it.

Bronze essentially becomes obsolete at iron age. All the ingot flavors are still required for base building, so haul a bit of everything if you plan to migrate.

You will "Need" bronze for setting up any forward bases for a forge. unless you plan to just have portals everywhere so you can go back and repair. Other than that, simple decoration, like the sconces and the item mounts.

I don't think you will need much of it, certainly not the level you needed before to make your gear, but don't burn down all your copper outposts just yet.

Thanks all, useful feedback to help me ease up on the harvesting sessions. I do like to make use of portals, but I also like building fully functional outposts. Looks like I'll make it a point to keep a single chest's worth of bronze and another of copper on hand for useful things like decorations and such.
