Could not get back on to raft, no option to climb up. ladder did not work. just a heads up

Ok hey guys i was on my raft i has to get off to change the direction of it because of the wind.

You don't have to get off to change the direction. Just take the sails down so you are using the rudder.

Don't use the raft unless absolutely necessary. The karve is a way better option. As the person before me said you don't need to get off the raft to change direction.

Surprised you could not get back up using the ladder.

EDIT: just made a raft and I as able to use the ladder no problem.

it's just really hard to click on that ladder when you're drowning.

Keep some stamina potions/tasty mead on hand, if you're far enough along.

.......the rudder did not work. it worked before but the raft would not move it was stuck. I was going opposite direction and the sails were down. anyways thanks for the info. GLHF

It's possible the raft got stuck on a rock or sand bar under the raft that you couldn't see, which might explain why sails & rudder weren't working. Strange that the ladder didn't work, though... But yeah as mentioned above, ditch the raft asap, the karve is SO much better in every way and is easy to make once you'e beat the first boss.

When I was first learning how to sail, I was told you were supposed to paddle if you were going into the wind. So I diligently jumped off my raft, pushed it until I ran out of stamina, and climbed back when I got low.

It may not have been exactly the right way to do it but it was great for my Swim skill!
