Stagbreaker made my day
I don't know where I read that, so I can't thank properly the one to give this fabulous tip.
Equipped with my troll set, armed with bronze axe and buckler, it was time to explore the Swamp.
During my first foray into this dark place, frightened by my own shadow and shaking with all my bones, I stumbled upon 3 surtlings, instantly joined by a large party of evil souls : 2 fearsome blobs, 3 skeletons and 4 draughers.
By the divinities! The odds where bad, very bad.
But as I had read earlier, I had taken with me my brand new Stagbreaker.
Pif, paf, pouf. Exit the dreaded Blobs, and skeletons dispersed.
Back with my bronze axe, the weak surtlings did not last long and the Draughers were quickly taken care of, thanks to some good timing: Block, slash.
So to you, brave unknown Viking, who gave the good advice to take the stagbreaker to the swamps, I shall raise my mead tankard and chant "Hei til deg".

Yeah, AoE blunt weapons are great in the swamps. Effective and fun. :D

Sometimes the people on the steam forums are amazing with the tips and help they provide :)

Fun to read your story, it seems to have been quite the battle.

I've completed 15 different worlds and never used it.

Made it once and found the timing really slow and boring so I never made it again.

Clearly you haven’t tried it in burial chambers, sunken crypts, or vs blobs and leeches because that’s where you really see how good it is

Never needed it for any of that. i can even find silver in the mountains without that or a wishbone. Not trying to argue if some people like it or not... just saying it isn't some God send you can't live without. It's easy to chip away at a muck pile and shoot without letting anything out or be in danger.

Just personally speaking it seems a bit cheesy to me.... I mean more power to you if you need it... just not something I want to exploit in my games.

Since it’s also great for finding silver without a wishbone, how are you finding silver without “exploiting” a different ingame mechanic?

I think he was just looking for somewhere to complain without having to make his own thread.

I mean, he's bringing up things the OP doesn't even mention.

Knowledge gained from having the wishbone in other worlds. It isn't hard to figure out likely spots and a few holes here and there are a cheap price to pay.

What am I complaining about?

OP isn't talking about the stag breaker like it saved them as a lifeline? I am just saying you don't need it to get through the game at all.

Should I have not said anything?

Am I offending you in some way?

This is my 3d game in Valheim and the first time I use the stagbreaker. I liked it a lot.
And I wanted to narrate some adventures in a funny way.
Cool down, will you.
