...or using Bronze and iron arrows. Such a waste of resources.
Wood (OP) arrows FTW until Needles...(used in conjunction with elemental arrows of course).
I find it hard to believe all the metal on a map could be used, regardless of buildings. I've got 6 massive bases and ore is still everywhere.
Its a world after a meteor shower xD
still... as someone already said you would need 1k+ days to dig all ore ;D
and it's about irl days not ingame days
I would wood every time...saving my feathers for fire arrows, etc and needlers later on.
Now if wood arrows required feathers, it might be worth it to upgrade to flint etc. Maybe they should actually....'cause otherwise, the wood arrows are OP due to the low resource cost.
Especially when new people join a server that is already day 1k+ you have to go very far out to find iron, or be content with the wishbone on small iron deposits outside of the crypts (if these have not already been farmed out).
I recently left my community server because the people became more and more incative and I'm sometimes had to travel really far out to find swamps with crypts. The map is big, yes, but especially crypts are a matter of luck. Not every swamp has crypts and not every crypt has lots of iron.
But I think it's okay the way it is. You really have to build a lot(or have to make 1000 and 1000 of arrows) to use up all the iron and I would rather consider people who reach this point lucky that the server has been active for so long than sad about it.
