Cooking in bulk
The cooking in the game, no doubt, will increase in complexity soon.
One thing, other than the limit recipies and low uses for certain ingredients (carrots, turnips, entrails, dandelion, cloudberries) while others have too many uses (thistle, raspberries) is one thing, but what annoys me the most is how much time I waste making soups.

Why can't we just create full stacks of soups in one click?

I haven't found a mod that lets me do that yet, so if anyone knows of one or can make one, leave a comment.

(Needs to be client side and compatible with base game)

They are incredibly inefficient. For the amount of veggies used you should get more than 1 bowl of soup out of each batch.

The problem is - the more you streamline such processes - the sooner you will run out of content and you will also loose some immersion. Its supposed to at least give some sort of survival/crafting feeling in the wilderniss. Having some rare ingredients is actually on purpose same applies to the process of cooking.

I see a potential for people complaining about accidentally creating a stack when they only intended to make one. Like with crafting/upgrading. Consider it an exercise in patience.

Use it myself, especially for carrot soup, which use a lot of.
I get the loop mechanic, but geeze. You put 3 turnips and a chunk of meat in a bowl and see how much there is. We should get at least 2 bowls of stew for that. LOL

It shouldn't kill the game to have the same 5x option as bronze at least.

In that case implemented like the "style" button for shields, perhaps, otherwise the list of recipes would be kinda long

There's another thing, Styles. Everyone looks the same except for the shield. LOL

Not if you dont add them as separate recipies, but as a slider/counter on the crafting station. That way it defaults to 1 and you have to manually adjust a slider to make more in one go.

THANK YOU.
This is not perfect, as it doesnt craft them all at once, but at least I dont have to sit here clicking for an hour

I totally agree. Being able to queue 20 or 100 of something, and being able to walk away would be sweet.

A second button that crafted until you ran out of materials would be enough for me. Say blow the current craft button. Even a craft 5 button would be nice.

That said I do feel that the recipes for stews is all wrong for one reason: historically you do stews to stretch out materials and even reuse left overs. The addition of water allows you to feed more people with the same amount of 'food.' I honestly have no problem with the recipe for say Turnips Stew but In my personal opinion the stew should craft in amounts of 3 to 4.

Taking that a step further I think the serpent meat should have the same effect as the serpent stew, but the stew should take more materials and craft more amounts.

I am looking forward to the next update that should give us new recipes. Least I hope it does.

i hope they add some kind of cooking leveling system higher levels lets you get more out of less for eg as well as allowing you to create batchs of food ..i mean the meat and turnips is a prime example of silly in this game personally i think it should be like the brewing where u add the ingredents and u get to pull so many out the highter your cooking level the better u will be at getting more from less .. and foraging should be totally a thing .. id also like it if u just left the veg in the ground for an extra few days to get seeds rather than having to replant them because my carpel tunnel is getting pretty upset with me playing this game due to how silly some of the processes are..

an entire deer provides enough food for... 1/3 of a day, a single mushroom is equivalent.

this game was thrown together on a theme and hyped into success, but there is no rational defined foundation of logic, game elements and theory of its worlds function allowed initial concepts to be implemented but will restrict logical rational and fun changes players want. The game was forced into existence before it was anywhere close to figured out on paper as far as how it works and why, how much physical clicking for emotional reward etc.

Its going to be very rough and i fear the game has teased us all with potential but is to messed up at its core to be fixed.

My favorite logic moment in Valheim is how it takes 30 pounds of ore to make 20 nails that each weigh maybe 1/10th of a pound.
