I think stamina management is the key, if you're traveling then alternate run/sprint, if you're fighting then maybe slow your blocks & swings, stepping in and out of combat as needed so you're not completely draining it.
I understand it's value in this kind of game, but after a decade of dealing with it in games, it's getting to be a bit stale.

Duh i'm a frkn Viking, and no matter what i am doing... i have to stop after a few seconds.. because i dont have stamina... welp.
Or maybe it's some kind of Viking-asthma, i'm not sure...
My biggest issue is not really being able to watch the stamina bar AND the hit point bar while I am engaged in combat. I'm friggin' busy and by the time I glance at either one I am usually dangerously low.
