Second, if you want to suggest a fix, do it in the right forum rather than just whining about it in the General Discussions area.
i build a brige across a gap, fit the stone to the wood, placed myself on the stonebrick. adjust terrain - terrain is to low or to high - this is major BS
Sounds like you need to spend a little more effort on planning and layout. Again, if you have a suggestion besides spouting about how things SUX big time and are major BS, you could find a constructive way to do it.
Ive been playing this game since early release and this has always been an issue. You have to level, then raise, then level, then sometimes raise again to blue your foundations. Its stupid.
A rather interesting declaration about a game still in development; the 'box' has not even been made yet.
And to assume because a game mechanic does not fit 'your' idea of how it should work in no way means it does not work (especially given that many players seem to be able to use it with little issue).
I am sure you realize the game developers have said this was never intended to be a 'building' game so perhaps the mechanics in game now are all the developers felt were needed to assist a player's progression.
As others have said it is probably best to make your observations and suggested fixes in the proper forum and who knows, maybe we will see some changes as the game develops.
Not only a building game but a building game nontheless. People that are sticking to the game from the start are people building stuff.
What I do is get it close and then build stairs at the edge. They will mostly just disappear into the ground, but will make it so you can walk straight across things without manually jumping.
