A small review of the forsaken powers...
I can see that the powers klinda map to the game mode you're in...

Eikthyr's power is well timed because you need to run and jump around, traverse large areas without a boat and run away from big scary enemies when you don't have the best food... so this power is great - and in fact remains the most useful overall throughout the rest of the game.

The Elder is also pretty good, because by the time you are here you are establishing and expanding your base and cutting down every tree around you. For the builder play style this power is great as it reduces the time swinging your axe to get the resources you need to build your dream Viking base.

Bonemass' power is just.. meh okay. Good for boss fights where you intend to melee, otherwise most things just die anyway after a parry and couple hits. So... when I have it prepped, I only end up using it in the plains... but even then, one is using one's bow, kiting and being careful... so the timer means you don't get to use it all that much. I'd rather have Eikthyr in case I'm low on Stamina and need to get away from a swarm of deathsquitoes. I'd prefer a power that slows down food consumption, or boosted food stats - it's obvious that Bonemass is a bit of a gourmand.

Moder's ability is the worst. Sounds great on paper: wind behind your sailing vessel... but it is for such a short period of time... on journeys that are routinely 3-6 as long as the power is active, it's just so incredibly unimpressive. Especially when for the next 8 minutes you are randomly just in a dead head wind the entire trek back (this happens so regularly to me I'm half convinced the wind is aggressively being stubborn). Plus, the wind could be behind your back (or better, at your side)... in which case this power has no effect, all the while ticking down to then be inactive for 15 minutes. (and it circumstantially only has uses when on a boat... which means portal to shrine to manage your power load out when you embark or disembark on a ship). It could run for 15 minutes at a time.

Yagluth's is again just okay... because by the time you are here in the game, you are mostly protected. This extra protection is kinda redundant and just not as useful as Eikthyr's power. I had no problems in the mountains with my wolf armour or cloak, fire is something I actively dive into when I'm wet and lightning we haven't seen since Eithyr. Being surrounded in a halo of Yagluth's fire, and never getting wet again... that'd be useful.

Agreed, bonemass and moder are the only ones i'm using now.
Bonemass power is a bit OP imo. 40 or 50% dmg reduction would be well enough i think.

Bonemass power is definitely the most useful one, I have a full padded armor and upgraded porcupine, still, this power saved me each time I was noit careful enough cleaning a goblin camp.

Moder is good when I go fishing trip, or farm Serpent, I don't use the other power that much since I am on endgame of the EA (even eithky which i used a lot before, I don't use it anymore since I am on lox & serpent diet)

While no doubt in SP, most are limited in their usefulness, this is also a co-op game and in that setting they can become far greater.

When in close proximity to another player when you activate your power, you both get the buff but the second player's power stays in the ready state. So you can cycle them to get extended time or stack different ones together for a 'double buff'...or triple buff with 3 players and so on...

Example...Moder...with 4 people, you can have the wind at your back forever by staggering when each person activates by 5 minutes.

Another...with just two people, employ the Bonemass buff and Eikthyr's buff at the same time for greater protection and reduced stamina usage.

Maybe the devs need to balance all this better for SP. I don't know what the answer is but off the top of my head...maybe reduced cooldown of say 10 minutes in SP and a multiplier added to increase the cooldown based on number of current players...3 players 15 mins, 4 players 20 mins, etc.

Personally, I pretty much use Eikthyr's power exclusively in SP.
