Is anyone else's pigs getting out?

I'm exhausted at this point. first i tried with just fences but the pigs kept getting out somehow. so i tried with wall segments but they were getting out of that. then i tried digging a hole with sheer walls but they somehow got out of that too. on top of that....some of them would remain in my base, id come home to find them running around outside their hole, but others would disappear entirely. ive lost all but 1, 2 star boar. i never had this problem before the hearth n home update. is anyone else dealing with pigs magically getting out of their pens?

it's not a birthing problem for me. I only had 2 pigs left and they both got out. I'm also not using fences at this point. its a big hole in the ground with floors over the outer edge to keep them from body piling out. i'd share a picture if i knew how

yeah all the time, i thought my pens were so small that pigs were being pushed out of them when being born, but then i noticed it happening even when i wasn't breeding them

maybe devs could make it so they cant move until more of the world is loaded? that way they would stay in their pens until the walls exist

Wow yea that definetly makes it a problem. ^^
Have you tried building the kind of breeder that encloses them? Perhaps the reason you have this problem and Im spared is that my boars dont wander around?

i had the boar farm and the wolf farm pre-HnH. but i wasn't sure if the trick still worked so i didnt take the effort in my new server. but if youre telling me the method still works, thanks for the advice and ill get right on it =D
