I use them on Serpents a lot. Poison them, harpoon them and drag to a beach. Draugr Fang is of course better for this, but poison arrows + finewood or huntsman bow is a decent alternative.

Terrible choice. Serpents are resistant to poison. You should use Frost Arrows on them as they are always Wet due to being in water which makes them weak to frost damage.

Poison arrows are good for taking up space in chests.

The poison is damage over time , and it stacks with the poison dot already present on the Draugr Fang bow.
