This is my thought as well. The map generator will create nodes of ore and that can be harvested at a min-max independent of tool, the quality of tool just shortens the time it takes to collect it. Does this make sense? Yet I feel.... Antler one gives more of a yield.. With copper haven't tried anything else yet
yes, u are mining faster, and no, amount is equal, around 90 copper for a hole spot.
I think it makes sense. Better tools are more durable and allow you to clear a spot with less hits required because of the higher damage.
With the amount of stuff you need, I think it is an useful investment.
Btw, since you are on bronze tier now, my personal advice would be stay with the troll armor until you unlock the next one. The bronze armor doesn't feel good enough compared to the troll one if you take the -10% movementspeed from the bronze one into account.
Thanks mate, yeah the 10% movement speed isn't great, especially since most attacks pre-bronze tier can be dodged by just walking away saving that precious stamina
25% more armor seems nice, no need to discuss this. But on the other hand, you require alot of bronze and the 10% movementspeed are noticable. Besides that, the Bronze armor is much heavier than the troll one, which means less mats you can carry around.
So irt is, at least for my personal feeling, better to invest in the troll armor, ignore the bronze one and directly switch for the iron one. here you still got the problems mentioned above, but the armor gain is much higher.
Sure, you will need to be a little careful in the swamps with troll armor, but unless you have problems with dodging/blocking and don't forget to prepare well food/potion wise you should be able to survive until you get the iron stuff.
SO i doubt that there is a difference (yes MY knive, not yours
I've read more than a few posts recommending to skip the bronze pick because it makes no difference at the iron level. I can't say their advice is wrong.
The copper drop is straight rng. Just dig deep using what you see on the surface as a guide to where to dig deeper at. Sometimes the radius extends further as you go deeper, but the copper drop is straight rng.
My average per node is usually around 3 to 4 stacks.
