Stamina is Terrible
Stamina is THE worst thing about this game. Having a blast otherwise. My friends also agree. Either make the recharge shorter or get rid of it.

uh... no, stamina is an integral part of the combat design where you need to use stamina-management to be able to survive most enemy encounters. Also, you can get more stamina by combining certain food items. It would be the same thing asking Dark Souls to also get rid of their stamina system, as Dark Souls does quite the similar thing with it.

Have the rested buff always and make Tasty mead. Literally solves the problem. Avoid wet and cold effects when possible.

Get rid of it? No thanks. I think it's fine as is.

Certain foods and meads improve stamina regeneration and increasing skills helps reduce their stamina use. Its pretty terrible at first but it gets better.

Absolutely not, learn to manage it, it gets easier with cooking/food choices, it's a cool mechanic, what is it with people and easy mode.. jeez

I use to think Stamina was bad as well, until I learned that you can eat food and rest in the game.

It is one of the major mechanics of the game; managing your stamina. So you will never die from not eating/drinking in as in other survival games, but go into a fight with poorly manged stamina and you can only hope for the best.

So many ways to buff it.

You know you can even build a fire in the middle of nowhere and use 'x' to sit next to it and get an 8 min rested buff to keep your stamina regen up and offset cold/wet.

Some people want games that hold your hand. The game mechanic is fine as is. Not sure why so many are complaining about the bow draw. It makes sense, your arm would become tired. It makes you get faster with lining up your shots. I been able to take down a Boar (2 shots), Deer, and a Grayling in about 10-12 seconds. Just know where you want your shots to go, and mind the drop.

Without having to mind your stamina, it would make the game super easy.

Early on it is rough, but it gets better with longer rest buff durations, better food, and mead.

What do you want? No stamina? Infinite run? Infinite combat? You people are embarrassing, may as well just cheat and insta kill all the bosses while you're at it seeing as you don't want any type of challenging gameplay.

My only issue is that Mead Base "Tasty" is so damn short timed.
It should get buffed.
There is a drawback anyway to consider. So its not like its free.
For something that needs to be fermented, its horribly bad.

Thing is, it has no cooldown unlike the other meads. This makes it spammable. I too would love to see it last so the health regen reduction feels like its actually a penalty, but they're quite handy. I brew them in mass batches and always have a stack.

While stamina could use some tweaking. It isn't so hard to get used to.

I killed the Elder in Leather Armour (Bronze Shield and weapons) using just Neck Tails, Roast Meat and Mushrooms and had no issues really with Stamina. I think I ran out once in a manner that gave me a little trouble.

If you don't spam attacks or sprint when you don't need to then Stamina isn't a issue. Unless you are running a long distance. That is the only time I ever wish I had more than the rested and Eik buff. Pulling a loaded cart along a dirt road can take a while.

For me the Day length is of bigger concern than stamina.

The problem is your guy gets winded as easily as a 70 year old lifetime smoker with one lung. Its incredibly dumb and not remotely true to life.
