Valheim

Valheim

The game have a end ? The world to exolore is limited ? It is roguelike ?
Sorry bad english

1- The game have a end ? Exist a last boss that when we defeat it the game is over and we need to restart it ?

2- The world to explore is limited ? Or when we explore a world 100% is opened another patch to go to another world ? or the world is unlimited and keep being procedurally generated forever while we explore ?

3- It is roguelike ? when we die we lost everything ? I see several post of people com0-aling that the game is frustrating and they died and lose everything...

4- Does the game developers have the intention to add more features or they will be forever just fixing the game bugs from now on without add anything new ? I see several videos and I really think that should be awesome to add NPC villages for us to protect and also add a PvP system similar to Dark Souls where in some parts of the maps we can be invaded by another player... I really LOVE dark Sousl PvP, I guess is everything that we need in a game. is perfect.

1) The game does have an end, at least currently. The content pretty much ends at the fifth boss.

2) An individual world is limited, yes. Each map is very large though, and you can move your character to any other world that you want.

3) The world is procedurally generated, which is really the only rogue-like thing about it. Which means everything will be in different locations in your world compared to someone else's. You only lose everything you're carrying and wearing when you die if you fail to recover the items from your tombstone that appears at your death location. Be aware though that there is currently a bug that can result in your tombstone disappearing.

4) The devs have posted a very vague roadmap for future content but other than that I don't think anybody knows the extent of future development plans.

1. The game has an end to its progression path, but it does not force you to stop playing.

2. The world is limited, though very large. If you manage to fully explore your world, you can bring your character to a new world and explore there. Because of this, it is functionally infinite, unless you refuse to use new world.

3. You drop your entire inventory on death. It can be retrieved by interacting with your tombstone, but mobs do not despawn and will not wander away on their own typically, and the game only marks your last death location. Consider placing your own map pin over the death marker and coming back to it prepared, with some kind of back-up gear.

4. Four updates are already planned on the roadmap, and it is likely we will see quite a few more afterwards due to the success the game has experienced.

The game have just 5 boss and then it ends ? Does exist even the need to create a fortress, like, the enemies attack you eventually in you house ? exist waves of random enemies that attack you eventually ?

I am concerned that maybe this game is just a casual game to have fun playing with friends and have not enough contend for single player.

I like to play alone, single player only. Do you think that this game is fun to play alone or it gets boring fast alone ?

I like minecraft and skyrim and I was thinking that this game is a something like a fusion between the 2 games. In Minecraft If you have not a house you are doomed, Valheim is like this too, or create a house is just something that people just do for fun ? is possible to sleep in Valheim ? exist the need to sleep ? I see several videos on youtube never see no one sleeping...

After all, Valheim is a survival game or not ?

I find it very fun to play alone, personally. Even on multiplayer servers I tend to keep myself to myself and only group up for the sake of adventure and shenanigans.

There are mob attacks on your base, but they are not too extreme at the moment.

There are 5 bosses currently, with 4 more planned. The time to properly prepare before each boss can be pretty substantial though, so that number is not as small as it sounds. That said, if you don't enjoy exploring and building for its own sake, you will run out of content once the bosses are dead.

The game isn't finished yet, it just came out in Early Access less than three weeks ago. So yes, there are currently five bosses, the technology progression trees aren't finished, all the materials, items, and monsters are not in the game yet.

That said, myself and a friend got about 130 hours of play from one playthrough of the current content. We didn't grind, or rush, or read or watch any tips, hints, or tricks. So I think there's plenty of value there for the money currently, you just may hit a point where you have to wait for further development to progress any further.

You do need to build at least one base, and build fortifications and such as there will be invasions from monsters of various types occasionally. You do have the option to sleep at night, which will fast-forward your game world to the next morning.

Valheim is at least partly a survival game, but a lot of the usual survival game elements are handled a little differently, such as food working more as buffs (necessary buffs while exploring/fighting) than a thing you simply have to deal with in order to not starve to death.
