you can't move resources throught portals, so in order to transfer them to base you need to logout and enter different world (the world with base and chests), once you store stuff you logout and go back to gathering world and continue overweighting yourself with puny stack of 1 resource
Also, don't log out inside caves, kids.
All between that and god mode with all stuff for free is a decision, you can let the developers take for you or decide yourself (so far you can change the things)
2. Yeah I don't know. Only command I've used is save and have been on 1 seed the whole time. People don't have much willpower. You can tell by the amount of complaining.
If you can respawn so often you want the difficulty of the game is exact ZERO.
Even a ape would win a game he cant loose
The game is easily playable and beatable all while never changing seeds. I don't care how people play their version of the game, but I do think it's a little sad that they usually can't acknowledge to themselves or others that they're more interested in finishing the game than in actually playing it.
But I mean, Odin's got a mission for us. And we ain't allowed to leave til we achieve it. :)
Not everyone enjoys traveling for long amounts of time with nothing to do in the meantime. I love it personally, but holding it against people that don't is silly.
I play for fun, not for pain
I think it depends on the player. Personally, I do consider it exploiting a game feature, but thats me.
Do whatever you find most fun imo. Some people want to see all of the PvE without playing for 100+ hours and I completely understand that.
Just have fun in whatever way you want. Huzzah sandbox games. For me it will involve roads for transport routes, outposts and secured landings on the far blue shores.
