Building keep destroyed?
I build quite a tall building, but the roof part keep being destroyed for no reason. Moreover, its just 1 block while the others are fine.
I've build a foundation for it, but it doesnt seem to do anything. No rocks, all woods. Stacking doesnt seem to work. Need to to shelter from rain decaying. Anyone got solutions? or is this a bug?

its not a bug its structural integrity... If you hover over it you will see its RED which means it will break... Hover over other stuff to see how the higher a pillar goes the weaker it gets... If you use a better pillar you can go higher...

For instance a Core Log is better then the 2m Wood Pillars and the Iron Pillars are better yet...

So ideally you would want to make a straight pillar from the bottom, as a foundation? or just place it in a certain place?
since color wise, I need to redesign my building

Some building pieces have more structural integrity then others... Beams for instance the type you use for roofs are pretty strong and stronger if you actually do the X

The Peak Straw Roof has a built in beam and can solve some roof issues if your not using it and just butting up to normal roof pieces that dont have the beam...

Its all a matter of learning what pieces are stronger

alright I'll try things out then. It's very annoying to find just 1 of the roof that doesnt work.
thanks for the answer regardless

you can see if its going to break or not based on the color when you hover over with a hammer. (like red would mean it would break and needs more support)
